Théâtre du Léman et la Petite Reine

Over the weekend, Thomas' mom invited us and his brother to see a contemporary ballet called Synchronicity choreographed by Carolyn Carlson at the Théâtre du Léman.

Before the show, we enjoyed a cafe at the bar to rejuvenate ourselves after having eaten our weight in hamburgers from the American Dream diner.

We found our seats and chit chatted as we waited for the show to begin. If you ever see a show at the Théâtre du Léman, I would definitely recommend the row "I", where we were seated. In row "I" center, you have an aisle in front of you which allows for an enormous foot space and no tall heads that could block your view. Plus you are right at eye view level of the stage for perfect viewing.

The show was incredible. Carolyn Carlson choreographed an outstanding dance with such a variety of emotions and expression of dance. From the set, the props, the music, and the message, the experience was sublime. Not to mention the fantastic dancers who engaged your attention with unbelievable precision and sparked your emotional interest.

From this link, you can view some photos, watch a short video, or read the program description for more information.

After the dance, we walked to la Petite Reine for a few drinks. It is located right behind the train station Cornavin, so it is the perfect place for a good atmosphere and a quick drink before taking a train.

To find la Petite Reine, it is literally right behind the station. When you see a small blue building crowded with happy locals spilling onto the terrace and stairs, you're in the right place.
