The 'rents Go to Europe

http://oliviasusan.blogspot.ch/2014/04/the-rents-go-to-europe.html

Back at the beginning of the year in late January - early February, my parents came to visit. We planned a Euro-trip starting in Paris, heading off to Rome, returning to Geneva, and finally them going off on their own exploring. They went to Amsterdam and Madrid, but that was not part of my trip with them.

We all met in Paris the day after my exams ended. I woke up early that morning (a bit woozy from the night before celebration of the end of the semester), frantically packed my bags, and hit the town headed straight to the airport. Before 11am I was already being warmly welcomed by my mom at Charles de Gaulle airport with her "LIVIA" sign held up high. We left to find our adorable apartment in the Latin Quarters filling every second with stories and laughter of everything that had happened since we last saw each other five months prior. A few hours later my dad strolled through the apartment door just having landed on European territory. They gang was almost all there, just missing Ellen. She is studying abroad this semester in London, so we were lucky enough to reunite in Paris that day! She spent the three days with us in Paris, her first time! I felt like the luckiest girl on the planet. My parents and one of my best friends all together in Paris (only missing Jacquelyn, Kenny, and Abby!!! Then I would have hyperventilated in joy!!).
