Blogging my blogger feelings.
A new blog, a new start.
This year I have promised to myself that things are going to be different. This year is about change for the better.
It seems to me that throughout life we periodically go through times that inspire us to change. Whether it be a new look, new attitude, home decor update, or environment, we tend to crave and desire the youthfulness change brings.
A wise friend (ahem Abby) once told me, "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony". Okay... so this quote is actually the words of Ghandi, but I'd like to believe it derived from my good friend. This quote is what I want to remind myself of everyday and what I am going to strive to achieve.
Everything about this photo describes my current inspiration. The striking pattern-on-pattern, the cool tones from the concrete that act as a blank canvas for this stylish woman to portray her emotions through dress, and the beautiful way the colors compliment each other. Now I can only dream to be able to stomp through my daily routine in pumps that high, but heck. As so I've heard, "it hurts to be beautiful".
